I want to set tanks up together and am wondering what you can use with out drilling the tank to make a true overflow I have seen a product that says its not a siphon but a on back over flow dose any one know what I'm talking about

The only way to get water out of a tank that isn't drilled is a HOB overflow that uses a syphon tube to pull the water over the side of the tank. You will want a U-tube style overflow "E-shopps" makes a good quality overflow that is also one of the cheapest available.
