Am building a 500 gallon tank and woudl like recommendations on what size should the fittings be to get a 3000 to 5000 gph flow through the tank. Any input out there?
Can't say for certain, however, my CPR overflow is rated at 800gph with a 1" bulkhead. The catalogs shows their 1600gph uses a 1 1/2" bulkhead. Using this as a guide a 3" would flow about 3200gph. Don't know if you can find 3" bulkheads, might have to use several 2".
