Overflow box Question

My tank is 72"x18"x29". Should I put the overflow box for my wet/dry system in the middle or on one side?

For my 125 I have the water from my sump go in one side of my tank and I have the overflow on the other side. This is to get the water moving all the way across the tank and have as much water flow across the whole tank. Other wise you may end up with areas of no flow.
