overflow boxes??

does anyone one know of someone that makes an overflow box that is thinner then the traditional design of 3+ inches?? I had a canister filter on my 55 gallon tank. Well it time to upgrade due to a leak, so i was looking and found a decent 75gallon wetdry filter but my tank is about only 2" from my wall. So i was trying to find possibly a thinner overflow box or something that i can do for this without having to drain the tank to move it away.. I have a canopy lid on my tank so putting it on the side is not really an option....
Anyone know if i get another canister filter will it be able to support getting some corals or anything??
If you have a wetdry filter how much noise does it make??? the reason i ask is my tank is in my small front room and i've been spoiled by how quite the canister filter i had was...

look in to drilled bulkheaded overflows

Looked into the CPR model. It's much slimmer and works excellent.

Okay, mine is 4", but it's one of the larger models (it's on a 155G) definitely google CPR Overflows. They have a lot of sleek designs.
2" isn't a whole lot of room, you may need a drilled tank.

You could also make an overflow from pvc pipe as well.
