Overflow Question

i want to convert my 90 gallon FW into a SW tank, i want it to have a sump but since the tank isn't drilled, and the bottom is tempered, i think i will just drill the back side of the tank, How does this design look?:

do you see any design flaws as far as too much water noise etc.? i will be using a Mag 7 pump with a 4.5 ft. head, so what diameter pvc should i use in order to keep up with the pump, or should i use two water returns of just one like the diagram? and what is the difference or advantage/disadvantage between this my design of overflow and the type with an in-tank divider (like a mega-flow) with a stand pipe? also, what is the best design for the flow back into the tank, an over-the-top of the tank or should i drill holes for that too? any help greatly appreciated!!
thanks for your time

well that answers the water return questions, but i still want to know how my diagram differs functionally from the black box-type return (like a megaflow) and what kind of diameter and numbers of standpipes i need to keep up with my pump

the diagram you have looks fine, depending on return pump size I would drill a1.75 inch hole and use a bulkhead with standard 1" pvc piping. then you can put a ball valve on your return to regulate the flow back to tank...
If one drain is not enuf , you could always do one on each side into your fuge, that would proabably be better for flow anyway. just my .02
