Overflow tank doesnt fit over side of tank

Trying to find an overflow tank that will fit over the end side of my 135 glass tank. Tank has a glass brace on the end. I need about 2 3/4 inch clearance.
Any suggestions? Do they make them?

Not sure what you mean. Tank is 18" wide. At the top of the tank, across the 18" width is a piece of glass added as support. When trying to hang the typical overflow tank, the "U" shape that hangs over the side of the tank does not fit over the brace

The width of "A" needs to be 2 3/4 inch. Typical overflow is about 1 1/2 inches.

yes bojik. You got it.
havent worked with acrylic. Could I use a cpr, cut the top brace and insert a piece of acrylic?

IS the tank acrylic? IF so you could make a small toothed overflow box and fuse it to the inside with a bulkhead though the back instead. OR have a LFS equipped to do it for you. From what i have seen/heard it is more reliable to restart then a HOB overflow in the event of pump/power failure.
