overgrown fingerleather

I have a fingerleather coral I bought about 6 months ago, since then it has grown about 5x its original size! I know this is a good thing but it is getting too big & is crowding that part of my tank. What can I do to trim it back? Can I cut it back while in the tank? It has grown onto some large pieces of LR so it will be fun if I need to remove it!
Thanks,
KYle

...and I'll call dibs on a frag if you do :)
Mods,
I'm not looking to get in trouble for trading. Just trying to score swag :D

I have fragged mine 3 times in the last 4 months. I just stick the frag into a small crevice or hole in a piece of rock, wedge it in good and it takes hold after a few days. Tried the toothpicjk through the base method but it kept splitting away from the toothpick.
