Hi every one,
Just wondering if any one has had any trouble introducing a new fish and had it died due to low oxygen levels. I had a blueface angle died on me last week. It was in a Qt tank for 3 weeks and healthy. Once put into my 125 everything was fine for two days. the night of the second all was well, eating real good no signs of stress. Then 8hours later at top of tank gasping then death. I have had no luck at getting an angle going in my tank. Warer tests out like this Nitrates 5.0, nitrites 0, ammonia 0, ph 8.3, sal. 1.023 and temp. 80. this is a`125 fish only with live rock tank that is about 10 months old. Goal for having tank is to keep an angel but am not sucessful at getting one to live. All that is in the tank is a flame hawk, c.c. star, two clowns, eng. gobie, and yellow tail damsil. Have no air stones very little surface current at time of death since this death pointed a few powerheads toward surface.
thanks for any help
