ozone

I am kicking around the idea of using a ozone generator to see how crystal clear I can make my water. The only time I notice my water being discolored is when I putting my waste water into a white bucket.
My question is if I do do this, is do I need to use an air pump or with the suction of my coralife ss needle wheel be enough to pull the air through? My thought is here is if I use a pump I may saturate the skimmers pump with air.
What you guys think?

First you have to determine if the CC skimmer is ozone safe???? Personally I don't know and by looking at those skimmers my impression would be months down the road it will eat the skimmer to pieces.....Ozone is very corrosive, and very hard on things......It will do PVC in as well over time.....
To answer your question more you need to determine what type of ozone generator your going to purchase.....Something like the Enly units have the air pumps built in while the RedSeas' need an air pump.
