MORE PICS !!!
Dont ask me how could i keep 5 tangs under the same tank or 2 clown fishes wothout fighting or an adult emperor angel wothout eating my corals but weirdly how could i have an almost 5 foot eel without eating my shrims or firefishes hahahaha it´s all about the risk !!

red coris are very cool!
i dont think those tangs are pushing it for the tank, i was just curious how they all interact?
i have a 150 in the stocking process and have a similar tang list. which ones are bold, or aggressive, which ones would you put in what order if you could put them all in again ?

well it's not an easy task but you can do it,
with the experience that i have i can tell you that yellow tangs are the most agressive and purple tags as well , then the sohal follow by the sailfing an finally the easiest is the blue tang so start with the blue tang and follow the list. you can put the last two at the same time , be carefull with the sizes try to put the latest ones not to big !-!!
but becarefull the blue tang is the easiest specimen to get ick , he will be batlinfg ick untill his inmune system controls it and adapted himself to the emviorment , mine took about 4 months to do that , now he is for sure the pririest tang in my display if yours do that he wont get ick never again ...of course he needs to eat a tons of food life mine to keep his inmune system well !!! :happyfish

Nice! How do you keep your sea fan so large? How do you get them to grow big. Mine opens 2-3 times a day and looks great but dont seem to grow much. I only add liquid calcium to the water too. I want mine to be large like yours. TIPS?

:notsure:
Just gotta say that your tank is WAY overstocked. Those tangs are small now, but that many large fish should never be crammed into a 125.
That Sohal is likely to take care of the problem at some point by taking out a few of the others.
I hope you have a home for them when they are too big in a few months.
Not tryin to flame, but honestly, do some research before putting 20 large fish in a 125 gallon tank.
The fact that no one has posted this yet is sad too.
Hope you're doin water changes every day.
Feel bad for the fish.
:help:

I have to agree to this. That is your major contribute to nitrates, your wayyyyyy over stocked!!!! In honest opinion, you probably could get by with it by getting a good decent filtration system to go along with your fuge and probably should look into a more powerful skimmer too. But still, too many big fish for a tank that size. For my 55 reef with my small 3.5" Naso, 2 baby Clowns, 1 Green Mandarin, and 2 Green Chromis. I even feel that I am stocked. But I don't have any nitrate problems though. But I am setting up my new 90G bowfront reef ready and that's where they're all going along with my Yellow Tang that's in my aggressive tank. Then I'm thinking about putting in 2 Bangaii Cardinals and 2 Fire Fish then I'm set. Then I'm restocking my 55 reef after moving all the corals to the bowfront. It will be my grow out tank for corals and some fish for a large future tank. The thing is I mainly keep mostly smaller fish for my 90G, so I'm not over stocked. And I do know about Naso Tang getting huge, but they grow rather slow. So eventually I'll get a bigger tank for him along with some other fish in my grow out tank. :happyfish

I would suggest a large compliment of hermits to clean up any dead carcases due to the fact that finding and or removing these will be problematic in a tank like that.
Errr.....Ok that was kind of harsh and I like to consider myself no where near as conservative or judgmental as some around here but I have to agree with them on this one. The tank is plenty overstocked as your nitrate reading is trying to tell you.
At the vary least I would forget about corals in this tank and call it a FOWLR. Even then your looking at a massive water change routine to try and maintain this tank at anywhere near acceptable levels. Over time this will be expensive and a back breaker.
I guess I am lucky in this reagard. Even when I was a kid I did not like the look of to many fish in a tank. One of my earliest memorys was of takeing some of the guppys out of my moms ten gallon tank (by hand mind you) there were just to many guppies in that tank. :joy:
Good luck.
