Pacific Cleaner shrimp

My Cleaner Shrimp has a black spot on it side it is about 1/4 in size. It is right where the body meets the tail is it bad or is it normal it got it about 2 days ago and wont go way

Good question. I only had poor experiences with cleaner shrimps and my knowledge about shrimps is very limited. I have seen exactly what you speak about in a fish store recently. All the cleaner shrimps had black spots and a couple of days later when I returned to the store ... there were none. Either all sold or all..?
I am also interested to know what it is. I suppose that when they mold, the black spot goes but it seems too simplistic.

I don't really know what the spot is, but my cleaners had it and it seemed to me it was part of it's insides and seemed normal. Don't know for sure, just my experience.

ok this spot is common my cleaner gets it all the time when it sheds it should shed off with its old shell give it about a week or 2
