Pagoda Coral

I have a pagoda coral that did not make it from a move. Could I crush what is left and seed my tank? I do not know how this coral reproduces so this may not work. The skeleton should be calcium so I gues it wouldn't hurt. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't suggest crushing up any dead coral and trying to seed your tank with it's decomposing crushed remains.

I wouldn't try it. Putting something dead or decomposing in your tank would cause an ammonia spike. I wouldn't even chance it.
