Pagoda Coral

My Pagoda Coral is apparently completely encrusting itself. Almost as though it is forming a shell completely around and over it. Any suggestions? Torch seems to be doing OK, but not opening like it was. All chemical values are spot on, and the lighting should be good. Plenty of water movement also. Any suggestions?

Pagoda cup likes colder water. You might have algae forming on the cup. It already sounds like it closed up tight for too long.
It also sounds like you have a little chemical warfare, which would make the other corals a little stressed and not open as they normally would...running carbon will help.
