has anyone painted the back of their tanks? i was thinking about painting the back of my tank a deep blue. i plan on using acrylic paint (easy enough to take off (scrape off). the tank is completely dry and i was thinking of paining it about a week prior to setting it up.
anyone think it might be a bad idea?

It is highly recomended. Looks way nicer than fake backgrounds. Black is my fave.

I have painted a few of my tanks with acrylic paint and I like the deeper blue, I think I mixed some black in with the blue to get it where I wanted it.

I just painted mine yesterday

I just used black spray paint from hardware store, I would reccomend Krylon. Better quality

Painting is my preferred method as well...I prefer to roll on the paint though.
