Painting a Blue Acrylic Back Wall

Hey guys,
Just curious to know if anyone has any experience painting the INSIDE wall of an acrylic tank. I'm interested in one on craigslist but I really hate that it has a blue background. Does anyone know of a bonding-type paint that will work and not chip off... ever?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would honestly advise against painting the inside wall of the tank. The acrylic tank can be painted by lightly sanding, scuffing the surface to allow the paint to bond better. Krylon fushion paint works great on plastics and is safe inside the tank, but will scratch. That is why I suggest against painting the inside, because when it scratches you can't fix without draining tank. HTH

Sorry.... To remove the paint the best way would be to sand it off easily and then you'll have the tedious job of working throught multiple grits to polish and buff it out.
