Painting Sailboat...

I put the first coat of paint on the deck of my sailboat today. I will put on the second coat tomorrow.
In a couple of weeks I will paint the back part and the outside...it is a lot of work.
I forgot to take pictures before I started. In the first two pictures most of the deck is painted, but you can see the part of the deck that isn't painted.
I will post more pics once I finish painting tomorrow....

Do you add any color like stripes or that?

just curious. Thought id ask some sailors. If I wanted to buy a boat that I could take out on the open ocean to dive off of, what kind should I be looking for. Not necessarily looking for a sail boat. More a living boat.
