what kind of paint do i use to paint the back wall black?

I used the Krylon "indoor/outdoor" spray paint. It bonded really well. I can even use my magfloat on it and it doesn't scratch. Just prep the glass really well with windex then alcohol.

If you dont want to spray paint the tank, you can use just regular latex paint and brush it on, you will need to apply two coats to cover up the brush lines after the first coat dries.

Rust-oleum Appliance epoxy spray paint worked well for me.

I used Rust-o-leum black Acrylic oil based enamel and brushed it on. It only took two coats and looks great!
