painting tank

i was wondering the best blue color to use. and what type of paint to get? should i just roll it on with a roller? or just buy the background and tape it on i just dident want the seam. thanks for any advice.

Anyway... any blue that pleases you is better painted on than a sheet behind, as water will get between the sheet and glass causing a "spot" that dominates your visual experience.

Yeah, I agree with Timo. Paint would be better because of the salt creep. It is a hassle always cleaning the white spots, As far as color, I like a dark blue or black.
