So i purchased a pair ocellaris clownfish...put them in QT for 2 weeks. Tonight i have added them to the tank after lights out
but im kinda nervous :scared: that my Yellowtail Damsel is going to fight with them. These are the damsels first friends to be added to the tank besides cleaning crew.<CBS,emerald crabs,blue/red hermits, brittle stars and snails> Should i be worried? Does anyone have this group of fish together? :notsure: IDK. im off to watch the tank.

I keep a pair of each in my tank and aside from some occasional posturing, there are no problems. The larger of the two clowns will sometimes chaerge the damsels if they get too close, and the damsels will sometimes do the same with the smaller clown, but they tolerate each other. Yellow tails are probably one of the safer bets with damsel, so I'm thinking you'll be fine.

Damsels are schooling fish, if you keep them in odd numbers of at least 3 you'll seldom have any problems with them.
