Pairing Up Clowns

I have bought a true Perc about 2 weeks ago and after doing more reading about clown pairs ive decided I would like two of them. He's in a 15g QT right now for another few weeks.
Should I add him to the DT when his time is up or try to add another perc with him asap in the QT? Or wait and QT the 2nd one for another month n try to put them in the DT together?

If you add a fish to the qt while one is in there, the quarantine period for the fish that was already there starts over.

O yes I know that, im just wonder if QTing the 2 fish together asap would make a difference in their temperments togther.

I'm no expert AT ALL but I'll give you my opinion having raised two different pairs. The first time I had a clown in a tank by himself for a long time. Then I bought a smaller one of the same species and guess what, they paired up immidiately and always got along well. This last time I bought two at the same time, QT together, into the DT at the same time and you know what? They don't get along yet (two months into it now). So no, I don't think that it will make a difference- but I could be wrong.

When u had him in the tank by himself did u give him a coral or anenonme to host for that time he was without the other clown?

he didn't host.. did after I added the second fish.

Alright well it looks like im going to try that approach then. Ill just get a smaller 2nd clown to add after I add the 1st one.
