Noticed tonite that one of my Pajama's has a Jay Leno chin! Could there be babies in there?
Will try to post pics, but had a bbq today and am a little bit intoxicated, right now!

I might try, the trick is trying to catch the daddy or babies out of my 125g.

yup-- pyjama cardinal and almost all apogons are mouthbrooders. However unlike banggais which hold their eggs and fry for 21 days pyjama cardinals release planktonic fry around days 7-10. The fry are much much smaller than banggais and require rotifers

Well, it seems as though he has released them, so,won't be raising this batch. A few questions,
Was I just not paying attention, or does this not become noticeable until the last couple of days?
Are there any indicators that the fry will be released soon?
Do they tend to release at night? If so, could the fry them be attracted to a flashlight and quickly caught? Or does the "incubater fish" need to be seperated before he releass the fry?
Thanks, Amy
