Where in a 90 gallon tank would you put PPE for best growth I have 2 250 MH on top

put them mid to bottom w medium flow. they spread pretty fast too if fed occasionally.

PPE palys are a sand requiring paly, (color morph aside) that type of paly bonds with sand internally as a way to keep itself anchored inside sandy lagoons (THIS IS NOT FACT AS FAR AS PHD'S GO) this is as far as its is the most i know on the subject. in these lagoons rocks are not abundant to anchor to so they bind sand into their structure internally which weighs them down. I do not know the long term effect of not providing them sand, but my friends (I trust these people) advise sprinkling sand accross them occasionaly to allow them sand to bind with, whether it actually does more than increase mass/weight/longevity, I dont know but it looks really cool bonded into their flesh.
