Palythoas or Manjo or other ID Help

Whats the best way to be certain? Ive looked at some pics and had a few people say these are palythoas,but as they are getting bigger im not so sur

when they close do they go into the rock or do they look like a polyp if the go into the rock they are not palys

that is what I call a "sleeper" protopalythoa if you hit it with pure actinic light I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts it glows green.

Why a "sleeper" ? BTW, I get the dollars to doughnut saying. If I were to guess I would assume you and I are a little older than Bronco....Kids these days arent up and all the old school lingo

Ok, sleeper. if you know cars at all (i'm not really a gear head but I am a redneck) A sleeper is a car that looks stock untill you stomp on the gas and it blows the doors off almost anything. the sleeper paly (I dubbed it thus) is because it looks like a plain brown protopaly, not really exciting (if you run heavy on your actinics during your regular lighting phase you can see more green). switch to actinics and BANG the green blows the doors off some fancier looking corals.
dollars to dougnuts.. My grandfather used to say it all the time.

just as an added bit of info, the whiteish line running from the mouth to the edge of the disk supports the fact that its not a aip, or majano, they dont have the white line, all "sleeper" palys have it
