palytoxin

Minor to major sickness up to death. That said I continue to read that true palytoxin does not come on the coral we have available from the trade. The bigger risk is the various and many bacteria that are part of the closed systems we keep.
Gloves are definitely recommended whenever going into the tank. When fragging gloves, dust masks, goggles are also the safest bet.

Treat every Zoa and Paly as if they are full of palytoxin. Blaine Perun talks about palytoxin if you can find his site. he himself has been poisoned once before.
I don't have any Alpha and Omega's either.

I don't remember the members name but one on this site lost a dog within a 24 hour period after it ate 2 zoos that were laying out during a frag session. So it can be nasty.
