Panther Grouper

Have a local that needs to get rid of his 3" panther grouper after it ate his clownfish. Cute when small but
really quick.
It'd be fun to have an aggressive tank but still not sure how I want to set up my secondary tank (mainly a large frag tank). Right now I have a clown and two shrimp in there that could easily go in my main tank.

I had one. Honestly, it's one of the best groupers to have, they're always out, where most Hinds (BlueLine/Spot, Miniatus) hide in caves most of the time, and really aren't aggressive to what they can't eat. Miniatus/Louti's can be terrors. They're only drawback is of course their appearance as adults. I can live with the muted brown coloring, but the shrunken head look is a bit much.
For tankmates, no idea on tank size, but a pair of Porkfish, and a large Angel would be cool.
