Hi, I have a 215 gallon tank with a 4 in. lionfish, a 5 in. Niger Triggerfish, a 3 1/2 huma huma triggerfish, a 3 in. tomato clownfish, a 3 in. damsel, and my 4 in. panther grouper. My panther grouper has been doing great until the last couple days. My panther grouper has been lying on his side on the ground. He looks alright, but he has a darkish color on him. But, when the huma comes by lookin at him, the panther grouper just turns around and chases him for about 2 secs, then lays down again. But when he gets up, he looses the dark color on him. He looks alright, no cloudy eye, no ick, etc. Anyone help, please!!!!!!

Groupers do naturally sit and wait for food and are not always swimming about. Is your grouper still eating and normal otherwise? If so give him a few days to get out of it. If he gets worse or keeps acting strange try moving him out of the tank into a tank he can have all to himself and observe him. Groupers are very hardy and rarely get sick. If he is still eating I would leave him alone for now.
