has anybody ever saw (bacardi ) a panther over the 18" range in a home tank (ie not aquarium that may have been huge when caught or just wild picture)? or are they one of those fish with the potential but just dont get it in home tanks
I've seen numerous specimens that were over 18". I've seen 5+ that were over 24".
When we say they'll grow upwards of 15", we mean it. You buy one at 2" (awww cute and cuddly) and within a few years, you'll know exactly what we're talking about.
