Parasites question

Hello all!
2 weeks ago i had a disease spread in my 110gal tank. I have lost most of my fish(Emperor angel, Lion, Butterflyes, big Hipo tang and even more). I only saved the Yellow and Naso tangs and couple of clowns and put them into QT with copper(now one of the clowns has a popeye). The main tank is still running without any fish. Just 2 anemones, 4 shrimps and 3 hermit crabs.
How long time it should take the parasites to DIE without a host in the main tank? I mean when i will be able to return my fish into a main tank?

Oh, i forgot. There's a small red starfish in the main tank as well, but it looks very bad.

So what was the "disease". W/out this information we can't tell you how long to wait.

One of them was like Ick, others i think, parasites like fungus, whatever. I tryed to cure with solution that i got from the LFS(i forgot its name),but it didn't help.

Hi:
well if it was "ich" then you should remain fishless for at least 45 days. Longer is better. If it is also fungus, then nothing you can do about this.
Anyidea why most of your fish got sick and died quickly?
Can I make a suggestion. Don't add as many fish to this tank. All those fish you added where big time waste makers and need lots of swimming space. I would decide on what fish your interested in and cut this list in half.
