I have had some new fish finally doing very well in a hyposaline (14ppt) q-tank now for 3 weeks.
The hypo salinity started about 10 days ago.
My sailfin tang about 4 days ago got a spot on his side. Large than an Ich trophont and dark brown. I have been watching it and it's not growing or multiplying.
I was thinking maybe a parasitic copepod or fluke.
Do I need to remove him to examine with a magnifying glass?
He is acting great...eating greedily and breathing normally.
