Me I could have gone either way! Even though he is the best player in baseball, hes not a post season player and breaks up team chemistry and a selfish player! IMO

During the World Series he says he's opting out of the Yankees and Hank Steinbrenner said he would never bring him back nor negotiate a contract with A-Rod. Now he's changing his mind ??!! Wishy-washy if you ask me ...

Actully steinbrenner said would not negotiate with bora(T)s. Good for arod, I wonder if the Rangers paid him off, this was like early christmas to not have to pay the rest of the 21 million they still owed the yanks. I'm not a big arod fan because he doesn't play with his heart. But he sure can hit. And atleast that money is not going to steinbrenner.

I agree with many of your points made. Arod looks like an idiot (whether it be his fault or Boras'), the Yankees also look like idiots. Arod is selfish and absolutley does not play with heart. I can't stand the guy. Yes, he is a good player, but in my eyes he will NEVER be considered a Yankee. He is not deserving of the pinstripes. Bad call by mgmt.
However, how in the world can you call Steinbrenner an idiot? The man has run a successful business for many, many years. He played within the rules and made a ton of money doing it. You want to see an idiot owner, look at Peter Angelos. George is a very far cry from that....

LOL !! No I meant Hank. Yes - being a Baltimore Orioles fan, I do agree 500% that Peter Angelos is the biggist idiotic goofball owner of a baseball team.
George was an idiot but he has mellowed abit now but I still didn't like him as an owner. Hank is a bigger goofball for the Yankees.

I dont begrudge anyone grabbing what they can while they can get it but what amazes me is people are willing to spend the big money to buy tickets or licensed products. Forget that crap.
