PC lighting question

I have a 29gal reef and have 2 65watt pc lights on it. I have one actinic and one 50/50. I was thinking about making a new canopy and putting one or two more PC lights. Is this to much wattage for a 29gal. I was looking for a 75 watt metal halide to put in but the cost is alot higher than a pc set up. Any advice is welcome, Thanks.

it really depends on what inverts or corals u want to keep in the 29.

A MH pendant will cost the same thing and you can have what you want instead of a make do.

well I went with another 65watt PC retro kits for $80. So now I am running 195 watts of PC light. All my corals have opened up bigger and the coloring is better also.
