PC lights?

Any info on PC lights? I have heard that a watt of PC light and a watt of flouresent light are differnt. That a PC watt gives off more then twice the amount of lumens then a flouresent watt.
Does this change the 5 watts per gallon rule if using PCs? If so what would be recommended for a 55g corals minus SPS or clams?

dual 55's on each side would be fine or dual 96's for the whole tank. If you can try Vho's. They would cover your tank alot better and you could do 2-4 48inch bulbs 110 watts each....
