PC moon lites?

does anyone know if the new moon lite lighting system would be good for my 10 gal nano tank? i can get the 20" 2-32 watt, 1 moon-lite for $111.99. would this be good enough for most corals? thnx for input all.

are you talking about the 2X32W CustomSeaLife fixture? What kind of lighting are you running at the moment? I'm running 2X32W pcs right now and I'll tell you, most of what you can keep under there are softies. I think I read somewhere the other day that there MIGHT, and that is a MIGHT, be some SPS coral that you could keep under that, but I don't know. You could get away with a torch, zoos, frogspawn and definatley shrooms.

the CSL fixture is 2 x 40 watts plus moonlight, i bought mine from ---- for 84.99 on a buy it now.
This light is awesome for a 10 gallon! i have all sorts of coral thriving in it : frogspawn, torch, hammer, alveopora, brain, gonapora(red), finger leathers, various shrooms, zoo's and ricordea, even trying my luck with a maxima clam.
If you have good access to this light , i highly recommend it, its also very nice to watch after lights out with the 1 watt moonlight.

hve you guys ever seen brookly johnny's tank? go to search and type in 10 gallon kitchen nano. he has a whole bunch of coral under 64 watts of PC lighting. take a look at it, you will be amazed:eek: .
