peacefull corals in close proximity

can I put 3 acros near eachother I have 2 acros purple and a acro yellow with blue tips all peaceful corals next to eachother with a strong flow and in the upper 3rd of my tank under great MH lighting is this ok ? basically can peaceful corals sps be near eachother to make a nice looking section acro's porities,monti's... thanks.

Most SPS can be kept in close proximity, but they still need space to grow, and if conditions are right they'll grow fast.

I would go 2-3 inches atleast if not more once they start growing they are going to need some room.!

If the corals touch, theyll fight and that wouldnt be good. I agree with Mike on the space. Then you should be good for a while

they are touching but they aree peaceful why would they fight ? i have no room i have no choice..

Peaceful is a relative term. An Acro is far less aggressive than say a Galaxea, but just about all corals can harm others if they touch.
Like mentioned, 2-3" is a decent amount of space.

IMO there are no truly peacful corals they all fight to survive some are tougher than others, there are passive/agressive (overgrow but dont sting) semi aggressive (chemical warefare) and all out combative (stingers) that really oversimplifies it but ample space should be given to all corals.

3 acros are the same corals the y cant touch its like fragging frosapwns or hammers etc...if three acros are touching its ok or it will have to be ok thats the only spot for them with high flow and under MH lighting..so it will have to do or i will lose some..
