Eventually the saltwater will dissolve through the copper jacket and quickly dissolve the Zinc. That much Zinc in the water is going to be very unhealthy for anything you have in your tank.

Isn't copper bad for inverts? Or do you mean to treat ich? Either way, I don't see what it'd be good for. There's no way to get the right copper concentration in your tank through pennies. At least throw some dollar bills so the fish can get takout.

agree i told him he was a dumb a$$ .
he also did not take my advise told him it was bad .just kind of funny.

What exactly was the purpose of this? Seriously, what is the reason for wanting small amounts of copper in the tank?
