well everythings fine and I accumulated them the way it's stated in this site, I guess that their not stiff, but they lay upside down with their legs in the air, I can't really tell if their stiff because I don't really have a current

I'm no expert but from what i've read here is that they may molt when put in a new tank. Maybe its the shell your looking at?

i woudlnt poke them with anything. if u just put them in they are in shock and adjusting to tbheir new home. the one is probably hiding. give em time, if they are still like this in the morning, then u can worry
hope they make it thru, they are really great shrimp:yes:
my three picked out their own little "hang out"

I read Shrimp could molt after being put in a new tank (brought on by stress). My cleaners molted the second day in the tank, and quite frequently for a month after... On most shrimp the molt will look "exactly" like the original, complete with antennaes<sp, (to fool preditors), and the live ones will hide for a few days thereafter, toughening up their new bodies. My peps spend most of their time (during daylight hours) hanging upside down and swaying. They are pretty active at night though, cruising around the whole tank.
