Nope, I believe they are carnivores according to what I read. They also eat aiptasia, which is one central reason why people get them.

they are scavengers, and i have only noticed them eating leftovers, they can and often do eat aptasia, but not always, they also have been know to munch other inverts too(not often, but do sometimes), ours toreup our feather dusters(which is generally unheard of, but once in a while)

I add as many as I can to the 45 g and the 135 being that they are only $1 at LFS; they also will sometimes spawn in a tank; have at least twice now in the 45 g; cannot say have seen the spawn survive to adulthood as of yet though;perhaps if I ever bother to try to catch some of them, but then again makes a good source of live food for the tanks
