Peppermint shrimp, Aptisa, and snowflake eel?

I have found some Aiptasia in my tank. Just a few pieces, and by reading some threads on this sight, a majority of answers to getting rid of the Aiptasia is to use peppermint shrimp. I have a snowflake eel in my tank (a smaller one, 6" (small mouth)(diamater around the size of your pinky)). I want to buy alot of peppermint shrimp from this sight, but am scared the eel would devour them (with cocktail sauce). If I buy alot of the peppermint shrimp, do you think the eel would leave them alone. I plan on feeding the eel quite abit in hopes to keep him happy so the shrimp can take care of the Aptisa. Any help with either problem would be appreciated. Thanks Sue

I did that and my SFE ate all of my peppermint shrimp but not before my peppermint ate all of the apitasia it is a chance you can take. even though there are other ways of getting rid of them but I prefer the peppermint way
