Peppermint shrimp with radar

Has anyone else observed this, my peppermint shrimp can be at one end of my 110g and I introduce a new coral at the other end and its just like he or she has radar he works his way over and is all over it looking for a bite to eat

These guys are always hungry. They eat more fish food then my fish. First they ate my aiptasia- good. Then they ate my nice colony of colonial sea squirts- oh well. Now their working on a rock covered in polythoas - they eat the skirts off of them. My avatar is the solution.
