Peppermint shrimps

I've had 2 peppermint shrimp in my 29 gal for 2 weeks now and i never see them. however if i come home late and the lights r out i see them swimming around. r they normally nocturnal and if not how can i get them 2 come out during the day?

yes they are nocturnal becuase that is an aquarium, adaptation so give him a ledge so you can see them and feed them during the day so gradually they will feel comfortable comming out during the day
