Clowns tend to fight eachother when you put them in the same tank, but My buddy has a Maroon and a pair of clarkiis in a 75 gl. However, I don't recomend mixing them. Most will say you have to buy 2 at the same time of the same species so they won't fight. Then you can't add no more clowns. But you never know until you try. If you do decide to try it, Good Luck.

I don't believe it will work at all. how long has your friend had the maroon and clarkii's? because I don't believe that relationship will last long either. those are probably the two meanest clowns.
I have kept tomatoes and perculas (not together). but the percs are small and slow, the tomatoes are bigger and surprisingly a good bit faster. that is not a good combo at all. I believe the tomato would make short work of the percula, even if the percula was added first.

Hes had them for well over two years. He got the maroon clown first, then added the mated pair of clarkiis probably about three months after but I'm not sure about it. The Clarkiis are about 3-4" long. (biggest ones I've ever seen.) and the Maroon is a little bit smaller.

I've seen Clarkii's that were 6"-7" long chasing a large yellow tang and hippo tang. other than triggers, this large Clarkii was probably the meanest fish I"ve seen.
