Hello,
My tank has been up for about a month and a couple of weeks. Lr 35 #'s 28 gallon, Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite all at 0 , ph 8.4. Temp 80. I broke down today and decided to add my first fish 2, Percula Clowns. Drip acclimated them for a couple of hours. When I put them in my tank one immediately when to the bottom right corner and started shimming up and down in one spot, i cant tell if he is breathing hard because I have the lights in my room extremely dim. The other clown immediately went to the back of the tank and wedged himself under a rock in the sand and is motioneless. Is this normal? Both clowns looked happy and normal at the LFS, no signs there of problems. The only thing in the tank is 2 cleaner shrimp, the 2 clowns and 3 turbo snails. Thanks!

Give them a little time, how would you feel getting chased around a tank , being caught then put in a bag then bounced around in a car taken in a strange house put in a bucket with no light and then 2 hours later dumped into a tank that you never seen before. would'nt you hide ???

sure they will be fine, did you make sure that the salinity and ph were the same before you released them ?
