Percula Clown

Just put in a Percula clown in a new tank
with 2 Tomato clowns and 1 yellow tang and the Tomato clowns are hanging in and out of the anemones.
The Percula is staying near the surface and
will not ,.. or does not feel comfortable coming down around the anemones.
Does this sound funny or is this to be expected?

Don't quote me on this but i think your not supposed to put two different types of clowns in your tank or they won't get along. Maybe your single percula feels threatened and won't venture out into the tank because the two tomatos are lurking about. I dunno.

That's correct, your tomato clowns are much more aggressive than the little percula and will kill him. It is not a good idea to have more than a pair of any clowns, especially if mixing perculas with the more aggressive species. Get him out and trade him in for something else.
