Percula w/black spots

Our false percula had brooklynella which he survived. He now looks pretty awful. He has black spots all over him - not black ich. This is not salt like spots. This is more like freckles. It is not a fungus - it is more like a discoloration. He also has a faded area on his side almost like faded orange. He is eating, breathing normally, swimming fine and hosting the flowerpot.
Any ideas?

He survived brooklynella? Did you treat him?
Is the clownfish a juvenile? Could the spots be normal color variation of young clownfish?

Yep, he survived. We caught it early and started medicated dips immediately. His buddy wasn't so lucky.
He has a ton of these spots - all over. He is a juvenile - I believe.

I have heard a little about melanistic. Could it be this?

Treated with formalin dip.
