Pesky Hermit

I have two hermit's that keep on climbing to the WAY top of my aquascape, just to rest on the "stump" of my leather coral, and i heard if the crabs annoy the coral enough it will effect it alot... any ideas on keeping them away? besides moving them constantly?

gee i've never heard of that

stinks for you i have around 25 hermits in my reef tank and they hardly every go next to my prized yellow leather. Though now that I think of it they do have a hole in the live rock they cluster around sometimes. I think you coul d move the leather and maybe they'll forget about it or you could just "move" the hermits.

The leather will probably get used to the hermits and then open up.
My clown was annoying my toadstool because he wanted to host it. My leather never opened up for around 1 week then opened right up.

lol thanks for the help, i moved the leather and the hermits seemed to be lost now, no more perching stool for them =D
