A couple of days ago I noticed something at the bottom of my Toadstool Leather. It only shows up in the dark. First time I noticed it was when I was checking stuff out with the flashlight. From the bottom of the Toadstool, where it connects to the rock, I saw this long, very thin worm like thing. As soon as I shine the light on it, it goes back in. I've been looking at it every night. Last night there were two of these long worm like things or maybe they're tentacles, I don't know but they're whitish in color and very thin and they extend out like 2". Very light sensitive.
The Toadstool is doing fine. Is this something I should be concerned about? If it's a worm, I can get it out with a DI dip. But if it's not harmful, I might as well leave it alone.

Does it have hairy spines down the sides? It sounds like a brissle worm.If it is they are scavanger and are good clean up mate. They just feed off of left over food that wasn't consumed.

It didn't look like a bristle worm, it was really thin, almost like sewing thread with no hairy spines.

I did some research and I'm thinking they're spaghetti worms.
