pests in fowlr

I have a 20g tank with an octopus, a chocolate chip star, and 2 black brittle starfish. There is 25lbs lr and 20lbs ls. My tank is being infested with pods, britles worms, peanut worms, various round worms, flat worms, aptasia, brownish gold sponges. My chocolate chip starfish certainly likes chowing down on the sponges and aptasia, but can the other 'pests' do any harm in a non-reef tank where I have no intentions of keeping corals? All these organisms are interesting to watch, and I can think of nothing octopus safe that would much them down, Im sure I could siphon them out as they are in the millions, everywhere. I guess what Im getting at is: can these pests hurt large inverts? and if so, how can I rid myself using only octopus safe preditors?
thanks,
Jon

What exactly are you identifying as "pests?" Only the Aiptasia, and perhaps flatworms would generally be considered such but it is indeed dependant on the situation. They are pests of corals and things, but otherwise are not, IMO.

ok awsome, i was just using pests as a collective term. If they wont hurt anything I think Ill just leave them in there.
thanks
