Well yet another thread locked that I said I would trade for a gorgonian if I wasnt allowed to sell. I understand that the mods have a huge amount of posts to read but I can't figure out why its so hard to read the whole post before closing. I HAVE NO INTEREST IN BUYING ANY GORGONIANS SO DONT CLOSE THIS. And gorgonians are not corals the share the same order but from there the distinctions are clear. That is probably why this site doesnt have them under the coral section but rather the inverts. Pete can you please email me at ] with pics and let me know what you are looking for in return.

I have a gorgonian and I could probably cut a piece for a trade. Depends on where you are and what you have to trade. The main difficulty I can think of for a trade is the size due to the shape so it would probably be expensive to ship. If you are close it would be easier.

I closed the thread because I did read the whole thing. You are the one that mentioned selling. Cut and dry. First we deal with all the base rock selling and now back to selling other items.
Regardless of what "order" gorgonians are in, it is straight forward that selling fish, corals, live things period is NOT allowed. Period. Barry

Look in the classifieds forum and see how many people are selling live goods. And I clearly asked if it was ok you could have just said no and I would have traded for it. And then somebody offered me a trade in another thread and that one got closed too.

Other people selling items will be dealt with. Right at this present time we are talking about you. I am not mad, I am not head hunting. But you have been told numerous times about selling items. You clearly need to reread the forum rules on selling items. Just letting you know this WILL be the LAST warning and then it will end up being a ban. I am not the only mod. that has told you that. Sorry, thats the rules.

buying or selling same thing if one is buying that means someone is selling so its a lose lose situation.
Just to clarify things if you offer to buy in a post and then say ok I cant sell or buy on these forums. its still there as a backdoor to still buy and sell. so as we see corals that are for sell or WTB corals threads they are automatically locked no matter who posted it.!!

My beef with the mods are the shear fact that they shut threads of “wtb or selling coral”
when this site has limited stock on coral.

I am going to say this one time and only once WE as mods have a job to do and SWF says trade only Thats what we enforce period!!!! its nothing against anyone its not to THRUST our authority on anyone. I have been civil and answered the question of why But what I will not stand by and let happen is a mod bashing thread by somone that has been here for a few months and recently read the TOS ** did you read that when you signed up or did you just hit accpet** either way this is not a public domain its private space created by SWF and they have imposed certain rules so if you think we are THRUSTING our authority leave. The choice is yours!!
Now onto your suggestion anyone cought doing this will be added to the ban list for going through the backdoor so to speak to sell something that is against the rules.!~ BTW you never know who is emailing you to buy corals becareful.
