That is both impressive and just ridiculously careless at the same time. I have to wonder if there's something wrong with the mantis or is it actually "tame"? It didn't seem very lively.
Either way, better him than me. I like being able to type and play guitar.

keep em fed well enough and they don't even hunt your clean up crew. there were bits of krill floating around in that tank, so the mantis probably isnt hungry

Yeah, but hunger shouldn't suppress the instinct to defend itself from a potential threat.
