pH increaser. Is it good or bad?

I tested my 24g reef tank and my ph tester said 7.8 ppm. I read that that it is a little low for my toadstool leather. I started to add something call "seachem Marine buffer". It says it will put your ph lv. at 8.3 from 1 day to a week. I was just wondering if this stuff is safe for my reef. I have already added it twice. once today, another yesterday.

It is reef safe but your PH is tied to calcium and alkalinity. Did you test other parameters? If so what where they? And how often do you preform water changes?

I have not tested my calcium or alk. because i do not have test kits for those.
I perform water changes evry 2-3 weeks. ( i am now starting to do them evry week)

You need a good Marine master test kit..it is cheaper than purchasing every test separate. Always test before dosing. I use buffer...but I don’t do water changes all that often either...once every other month. The more you do a water change the less you need to supplement..but you still need to test.
